canal location friendly staff clean room
The hotel is in a great location right by the canal. i saw the neptune staircase locks. It was really nice. the staff were friendly and cute, and . the room was clean, too!!!
i noticed there was no air conditioning. this made the room a bit stuffy, and i wished the windows could open more. the duvets felt quite old, too.

I appreciated the convenient on-site parking near the entrance. the hotel's proximity to the caledonian canal was a highlight. Short walks to the locks and neptune's staircase are easy. the bar area had a good selection of scotch (i tried a few!).
the automated check-in was a bit tricky, but the staff quickly resolved it.

The location was convenient for accessing local attractions.
The automated check-in was not working. The room's condition was disappointing. The bathroom was filthy, and the mattress was like cardboard. There was no hot water available for a shower the next morning. No one seemed concerned (a rather dismissive attitude).

dog-friendly policy convenient parking simple check
i appreciated the hotel's dog-friendly policy it even included a bowl treats and a bed for my dog this made traveling much easier my dog was allowed to join me for breakfast i found good parking on the premises which was very convenient. check-in and check-out were straightforward using a machine.
the hotel could benefit from updates in some areas. the carpets showed some wear which detracted slightly from the overall impression.

the hotel's location near the canal is convenient. i found ample parking was available on site. the staff were friendly and helpful . the room was spacious and well kept, which i found quite pleasing.
the bar was a little understaffed at times.

I liked the hotel's location near the canal. It made for nice walks. there also are lovely views from the hotel. the staff seemed helpful and friendly.
the room i stayed in needed updating. the bathroom sink drained very slowly. the hotel lacked clear signage for reception.
